Hi, I’m Katina Lee—a certified holistic life coach and trained hypnotherapist, author, and the voice behind Breaking Free Blog and Podcast. I help people find steady ground after life has felt unstable—especially after heartbreak, loss, or seasons that required more survival than rest.


My journey into this work didn’t begin in a classroom

 

Hi, I’m Katina Lee—a certified holistic life coach and trained hypnotherapist, author, and the voice behind Breaking Free Blog and Podcast. I help people find steady ground after life has felt unstable—especially after heartbreak, loss, or seasons that required more survival than rest.


My journey into this work didn’t begin in a classroom. It began early, in real life. I became a mom at 14 and again at 17, stepping into adulthood while still trying to understand who I was. Over the years, I’ve navigated deep heartbreak, complex relationships, grief, and the long process of rebuilding—not just my life, but my sense of safety within it.


Those experiences shaped me. They taught me resilience, compassion, and a deep respect for the human healing process. They also led me to study psychology, human behavior, and trauma-informed practices, earning certifications in life coaching and hypnotherapy along the way. But more than credentials, it’s my lived experience that allows me to meet people where they are—with understanding, not judgment.


At the heart of my work is this belief: you are not broken. You may be carrying wounds that were never meant to be carried alone, but healing doesn’t come from fixing yourself—it comes from creating safety, truth, and space for who you’re becoming.


My coaching work is grounded in compassion, nervous-system awareness, and faith. I am a Christian, and my work is guided by the love of God, the compassion of Jesus, and the quiet wisdom of the Holy Spirit—without pressure, performance, or spiritual bypassing. I believe faith can be a place of refuge, not expectation, especially when God feels distant or hard to hear.


While my training includes hypnotherapy, life coaching is the foundation of my work. At times, additional techniques may be gently integrated when appropriate and with consent—but the heart of our work is always relationship, reflection, and forward movement at a pace that honors your story.


Whether you’re healing from heartbreak, rediscovering your identity, rebuilding confidence, or simply longing for a safe place to land, I’m here to walk alongside you. Not to rush your healing. Not to tell you who to be. But to help you reconnect with yourself, your faith, and the life that’s still unfolding.


Outside of coaching, I find grounding near the water, joy in simple moments with my family and grandkids, inspiration in books that explore healing and growth, and creativity in planning, decorating, and dreaming up what’s next.


My story isn’t just part of my past—it’s the foundation of my purpose. And if you’re here, I believe it’s because something in you is ready to heal, gently and honestly.


You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to start somewhere safe.
